I am guessing you problem is not the software you are using, but the set speed of your DVD burner; and/or5 the amount of ram you have. It could also be the DVD disks you are buying.

The burner itself will burn at a certain speed, and no faster, the older it is, the more likely it is to be slower.

Disks are made to be burned at certain speeds … a disk set for 4x wont burn at 8x…. the fastest will be 4x.

If you are running an XP system on 256 mb of Ram and trying to burn DVD’s, it’s going to be slower also. Having too little space on hard drive will do the same.

Go to the epson website and type in your model number. then pick the software for your operating system, windows, mac etc.
